View from Minar e Pakistan

June 9, 2010 by mina

Beautiful view of Lahore, filmed from the top of Minar e Pakistan. Lahore is the capital of the Pakistani province of Punjab and the second largest city in Pakistan after Karachi. Historically the main city of the undivided Punjab, it is often called the Garden of Mughals because of its rich Mughal heritage.

  3. faakhir24 says:

Its called Tample or GuruDawara, not Qurdawara, and its not Panja Sahib, GuruDawara Panja sahib is in Hassan Abdal.

Rest is a super cool video, i guess its rare when they allow people to go up there.

Thank you for you comment, as u can see i only zoomed OUT not zoomed it :) its. I would never advice to zoom in or out witthout putting the camera on a tripod. I used here camera Canon XL-1 and it absorbs pretty much the shaking but i a mnot that happy with the result bc i did film veyr hastly.

  12. nasiwise says:

    A very well made video!

How did you avoid camera shake, especially when you were zooming in?

The Badshahi Mosque was built in 1673 by the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
Gurudwara Panja (lit. palm) Sahib was established during the reign of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
The foundation of three-storey building, designed after the samadh of Maharaja Ranjit Singh in Lahore,
was laid on 14th October 1932 by five eminent holymen, Panj Piare.
